A red Angus cow face shows off her wet ears after a very quick and light rain shower came through. It was the middle of August at our place. There was enough moisture to take the dust away. The hope for more rain was on the minds of everyone involved in agriculture both for the crops and the pasture. There hadn’t been any substantial moisture since the early part of July.
As my husband and I hauled water to a group of heifers in the field, this photo presented itself. The sun was setting, and the remnants of the shower could be seen on this bovine’s face.
